The live Open Mic runs October 28 from 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. Central Time at the Texas Tech Student Union. Finalists give three-minute pitches without slides, followed by up to two minutes of audience questions. Audience voting determines the $1,000, $500 and $250 awards. An existing company, prototype or business plan is not required. Use the official submission link on the organizer’s page; a participation fee is not specified.
